Coles, a local cancer quack in Wakefield, Massachusetts, 1911-1923; Colic (Rice Colic Remedy, a patent medicine), 1924-1934; and College of Universal Wisdom, an organization promoting a quackish device, the Integratron, possibly a variation of the Albert Abrams method (the group opposed the Salk vaccine because of its alleged effects on the body's "vibratory rate"), 1957-1969.
